This project is the result of a collaboration with the University of Film and Television in Potsdam-Babelsberg. ‘Wasser & Krieg"’ is the second part of a trilogy of large-format photographs measuring 6m x 3m. The photographs were created using a three-stage process, during which the make-up, costumes and set gradually changed in an irreversible way. Ultimately, the three parts were brought together to form a single image.
The project focuses on the depletion of water resources. The costumes play a key role in this, symbolising a process of decline.
