STERNTAGEBÜCHER
By Stanisław Lem.
Translated from the Polish by Caesar Rymarowicz and adapted for the stage by Raphaela Möst.
For the first time ever, a high-precision spectrograph is enabling the public to participate in a ground-to-space mission. This means that life on other planets can easily, cheaply and almost without interference be brought to the Schauspielhaus theatre in Graz!
Who are we humans really? Can machines think and feel? How does coexistence work? Sometimes, galactic distances help us to find answers to major epistemological, political, ethical and psychological questions about humanity. Stanisław Lem's 'Star Diaries', published between 1957 and 1971, offer an ideal starting point for an entertaining and profound exploration of the vastness of space, where the limitations of human knowledge become apparent.
